Here are a couple of my favorite Invites we have in the store for Valentines Day!

Tatiana & David Go Green!!

Tatiana came to me looking for a specific brand in mind, and left with a totally customized concept for her wedding invitations. We took the idea for this invitation from another sample I had in Blue and Silver and she wanted to add some flair to it, so we went with a bold green patterned paper as accents. Time was of the essence for her, as her wedding is only a few weeks away. We had to rush the whole process and we were lucky we were able to produce quality work in under two weeks from start to finish.

Etiquette Wednesdays " Invitation Timeline"

I get phone calls all the time from brides asking if its too early for them to start looking at Invitations for their wedding. Here is a great time line that I always tell my brides to try and follow.

10-8 Months
* If your wedding is on a busy weekend like Memorial day or during the Holidays like Christmas, Now is the time to send out Save the dates for your local and out of town guests.
* Also if you are having alot of out of town guests.

6 months
*Pick a Stationer- Start looking around see what it is that calls your attention and try to find someone that sees your vision also
*Start collecting clippings of ideas that you like or color concepts or something that is significant from your wedding that you want to incorporate into paper.
* Start working on a design concept with your stationer and getting final designs proofed
* Start contacting calligraphers if you want the envelopes addressed in calligraphy

3 months
* Start addressing the envelopes, Place the stamps
* If using calligrapher, start sending the names and addresses all your guests along with any last minute add ons

6-8 Weeks
* Send out Invitations.

2 Weeks
* Start Calling guests that have not yet RSVP'd

Mad Libs RSVPs Are HERE!!

Look at these absolutely new creative ways to send RSVP's. We recently received some inquiries regarding Mad Lib RSVP's. We've been working on some new styles and they will be ready to post just as soon as they go out.. I dont want to ruin the surprise.. But here are some great examples in the mean time.

I am really feeling inspired by everything yellow. I love the new 2009 designs we have in the store but most of all I love this Yellow and Black "Birdy" design that just came in. .

I love the subtle Yellows and Greys. This invitation is from a very creative artist and her company Pearl and Marmalade
