Fine Linens

Monogrammed Linen Napkins are here. Nothing screams elegance like custom made monogrammed linen napkins. If you can dream it we can monogram it on individual linen napkins or linen cocktail napkins for the bar or they can be given as gifts to your bridal party. Below are some example designs.

Dina & Micheal Engagement

Dina and Micheal came to me with an idea for a message in a bottle Invitation for their upcoming Engagement Party. They are having their engagment party on a yacht and wanted to have Invitations to match their theme. We came up with three different options for Dina to pick from but it turns out she loved all three so much she wanted to use all three. Here are some pictures of the design.

Etiquette Wednesdays

Lately I've gotten a couple of different wedding invitations in the mail for upcoming weddings this year. And every time I get one, I always notice that either the addressing of our Names, or the proper format for using Mr. & Mrs is always commonly mistaken. So, to ensure that you don’t make the same mistake, below I have listed many common errors found in addressing a wedding invitation. All of these examples are taken from Emily Post’s Etiquette.

Married couples with young children:
The adults’ names should go on the outer envelope as shown below and the inner envelope will list the individual names of those invited. Listing the names on the inner envelope ensures that there will be no confusion with who is invited.

Example: Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Jason Adair

Couples who live together:
For couples that live together and are not married, it is alright to put them on the same envelope as long as you are familiar with their situation.

Example: Ms. Doris Garcia Mr. Harrison Diaz

People with military and professional titles:
All titles should be written out and the person holding the title should be the first name listed.

Example: Admiral and Mrs. Henry Jernigan
Example: Judge Crystal Sims and Mr. Randall Sims

And, my favorite, guests who are welcome to bring a guest: The appropriate way to go about this would be to find out the name and address of the guest that is accompanying the invitee and send them a separate invitation. This is more personable and allows you to know exactly who is attending your wedding. If there are situations that I haven’t covered feel free to comment and I will provide an example. Or, as always, feel free to call us

Spring Time Fiesta!!

Not only is my birthday in spring but its my favorite time of the year. Theres something about spring that always brings a smile to my face. I recently had a client that wanted to get some invites for her modern Mexican Fiesta Engagement Party. Here are some of the inspirations she had in mind.
This is what it translated into. I changed the name for privacy purposes. The actual invitation is a 5X7 three layer cardstock invite with quality metallic cardstock layers printed in offset.
